This is my typical loadout for close-quarters combat (CQC) in scenario games. Given that breachers are often the first into new areas, they might specialize in CQB, ready to engage opponents who are close by once the breach is made. The focus here is on protection and effectiveness at short distances. In CQC it’s not uncommon to take hits from close range, therefore some extra padding is welcome. Due to the wide spread of the Shotgun, precise aiming is not necessary and allowing quick reactions and fast triggering. Smoke grenades and flashbangs are also essential for the job.
A breacher on a team has a very specialized role. Breachers are responsible for quickly and effectively opening pathways into structures or areas that are otherwise secured or barricaded during tactical operations. This may involve breaching doors, windows, walls, or other barriers.
Normally, in paintball games it’s not necessary to break open doors, or cutting fences. So I will not go into this in detail here. However, if necessary, I take my backpack and equip it with the right tools.
